The Difference Between All-on-4 Dental Implants and Dentures
All-on-4 implants are a permanent set of teeth that look and feel like natural teeth. You are able to brush & clean All-on-4 implants like natural teeth. Unlike dentures, they do not have to be taken out and no adhesives are needed. They provide more comfort than dentures because they do not press down on your gums. With All-on-4 implants, you will not have to worry about hot or cold food sensitivity. Your facial features will be restored thanks to the reconstruction of bone deterioration.
The Difference Between All-on-4 Dental Implants and Traditional Implants
The technique used to place All-on-4 implants requires four implants per arch. Traditional implants require 6 or more implants per arch. All-on-4 implants are placed at an angel which mimics the natural structure and support of your bone. This increases the contact of your bite. Most patients will not need bone grafting with the All-on-4 implants technique.
